Zelfde beleid als bij CAP – onbekende verwekker (kies afhankelijk van AMBU-65-score therapie). Ook bij massale aspiratie volstaat standaard CAP beleid, tenzij er sprake is van een langdurige ziekenhuisopname of van fecaal braken. |

Medication: ceftriaxon iv 2000mg 1dd 5 days metronidazol po 500mg 3dd 5 days |
Remarks:
Alleen bij langdurige ziekenhuisopname of fecaal braken. Indien orale intake voor metronidazol niet mogelijk is kan i.v. worden overwogen. |

Bij goede klinische respons, eventuele iv-orale switch na 48uur en totale behandelduur 5 dagen, tenzij aanwijzingen voor pleuraempyeem | CZEMMC of longabces | CZEMMC.
