Priority: 1st choice	Medication: amoxicilline po 500mg 3dd 5 days
Priority: 2nd choice	Medication: doxycycline po loading dose 200mg, 100mg 1dd 7 days	Remarks: bij betalactam allergie NB niet bij zwangerschap/lactatie
Priority: 2nd choice alternative	Medication: azitromycine po 500mg 1dd 3 days	Remarks: bij betalactam allergie en zwangerschap/lactatie

General comments

Bij goede klinische respons zonder verwekker behandelduur met amoxicilline 5 dagen, tenzij aanwijzingen voor pleuraempyeem | CZEMMC of longabces | CZEMMC.
Bij onvoldoende verbetering na ≥ 48 uur behandeling switch naar doxycyline of azitromycine voor mogelijke atypische verwekkers.
